Guide
Is Battlefield 6 Cross Platform?
Yes. Battlefield 6 is cross-platform between PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Cross-play is enabled by default; console players can restrict matchmaking. Progress carries across platforms on the same EA account.
Electronic Arts shipped Battlefield 6 as a cross-play title on day one. That means a PS5 squad can queue with PC and Xbox friends in the standard playlists.
Console players who want to avoid PC input can usually open the game’s cross-play settings and prefer console-only matchmaking. Expect longer queue times in some regions when restricted.
Cross-progression is tied to your EA account—unlocks, Battle Pass progress, and cosmetics follow you when you switch from Steam to PS5 (or any other supported storefront) with the same login.
REDSEC (the free battle royale destination) follows the same platform family: current-gen consoles and PC.
